Welcome to Blessed To Bless Ministries
Blessed to Bless is a newly established Christian-based charity founded with a deep sense of purpose: to support and uplift the less privileged in Moldova and other parts of the world. Our name, Blessed to Bless, reflects a powerful personal story. We are a small community of Moldovans who immigrated to Northern Ireland, seeking a better life and finding blessings in the safety, opportunities, and support this country offers. Moved by gratitude and guided by our faith, we believe these blessings are not meant to be kept to ourselves—they are gifts to be shared with others in need.
Although our organisation is still in its early stages, our vision is bold, and our passion is unwavering. We are based in Bangor, Northern Ireland, and our team consists of approximately 15 committed Moldovan volunteers. Despite being a young charity, we have already begun taking action, focusing on providing practical aid, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement to individuals and families facing hardship, especially in Moldova. Many of our volunteers have firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by those living in poverty or in under-resourced communities, and this personal connection drives us to make a tangible difference.
Our work is inspired by the Christian principle that those who have been blessed are called to be a blessing to others. This belief shapes every aspect of our mission. We aim not only to meet immediate physical needs but also to offer hope, dignity, and long-term support to the vulnerable. Blessed to Bless is more than just a name—it captures the essence of who we are and why we serve. As we grow, we are eager to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and bring light to those in dark and difficult places.

According to official statistics and GDP per capita, Moldova is ranked as one of the poorest countries in Europe. The country, like others in the region, suffered a major economic setback after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Despite some economic growth in recent years, migration for employment and income opportunities is the norm. Every hour, it is estimated that four people leave the country for a better life. As a result, the population shrinks by approximately one hundred people per day and Moldova’s emigration rate is amongst the highest in the world. Family members in productive age leave behind their children and elderly parents and look for work abroad.
